I believe love is when we transcend ourselves enough to recognize God in someone or something else. And, when that God we see in something or someone else resonates really deeply with the pure essence of our selves, I think that’s when we reach love. Beyond our selves. There’s the joy of like spiritual maturity where someone’s experiences don’t equate how much love they deserve from you, it’s how much you can hold onto that pure essence that you see inside of them. How often you can recognize that and how it resonates with you personally, and that connection, feeding that connection, rather than putting limitations on it according to how you think someone should fit in your box. Does that make sense? Fit in the box you’ve created for the other humans. I can’t think of it in any other way than that.
Like, yeah... When I can see something that is so beyond my perception, my human perceptions, my taught perceptions, my projections, when I can actually taste God in someone else I have found love. So lets, ah, taste as much of that God in life and love other people, as much of it as possible, as often as possible.
